1. Scope
This notice applies to the public corporate website at taoedgesolutions.com and to personal data received through direct business enquiries sent to our company email. Separate Taoedge products, customer systems and guest-facing services may have separate privacy notices, customer agreements and data-processing terms.
2. Personal data we may process
- Business contact information you provide, such as name, company, role, email address, telephone number and message content.
- Technical and security information associated with use of the website, such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, requested URLs and network/security metadata where processed by our hosting or security providers.
- Correspondence and records reasonably necessary to manage business enquiries, relationships, contracts, legal obligations and security incidents.
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data through this corporate website. Please do not send passport data, health data or other sensitive information through the general corporate email address unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure process.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data only where reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes and in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) of Thailand (“PDPA”). Depending on the circumstances, processing may be necessary to respond to enquiries and take steps at your request before entering into a contract, perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect our systems and business, prevent abuse or fraud, or pursue legitimate interests that do not override your fundamental rights. Where consent is required by law, we will request it separately.
4. Retention
- Ordinary business enquiries and related correspondence are normally retained for up to 2 years after the last substantive interaction.
- Records connected with an active contract, dispute, legal claim, accounting/tax requirement or other legal obligation may be retained for the longer period required or permitted by applicable law.
- Routine technical/security logs are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, and may be retained longer where required to investigate an incident or comply with law.
When personal data is no longer required, we will delete, destroy or anonymize it as appropriate.
5. Recipients and service providers
Personal data may be disclosed on a need-to-know basis to service providers supporting website hosting, security, email and business operations; professional advisers such as accountants, auditors or legal advisers; contractual counterparties where necessary; and competent authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data collected through this corporate website.
6. International transfers
Some technology providers used by Taoedge may process data outside Thailand. Where the PDPA requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use applicable lawful transfer mechanisms, contractual protections or other safeguards appropriate to the circumstances.
7. Cookies and tracking
This corporate website is intentionally designed without advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our hosting/security provider may use strictly necessary technical or security mechanisms required to deliver and protect the website. If we later introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking, we will update this notice and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before such use where required.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and risk of the data processed, including access controls, authenticated company email, domain email authentication and security-focused hosting controls. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions under the PDPA, you may have rights to request access to your personal data, obtain a copy, request correction, request deletion or anonymization, request restriction, object to certain processing, request data portability where applicable, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
To exercise a right, contact dom@taoedgesolutions.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Future products and commercial services
When Taoedge launches paid software subscriptions, online purchasing, customer portals or additional data-driven services, the relevant product will be accompanied by product-specific privacy information, commercial terms and any additional notices or consent mechanisms required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our website, processing activities, providers or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are published.
